I'd also like to chip in my sincere thanks to Brian, Dave, Sue and the other contributors, who've all made it possible to share our passion for the band on the internet. First thing I did back in 95 when I got an internet connection on my home computer, was utilizing it for my craziness about The Church. It's strange to look back at it now.. meeting up with seancers/wombers eye to eye on various locations all over the world, all the friends I've made, concerts we shared,...

Dave, thank you for creating this community. there was a time when i was here more than i was at work! these days, i'm not in as much but always keep an eye on band news and the fan buzz. this forum really helped me reconnect with my favorite group back in the early 00's...i had almost forgotten.

Wow 10 years... I was on during the early days as a different name (Binkert). I haven't been as activce in the last couple years, but I check in about once a week or so. There will always be a special place in my heart for this band, this site & the people who have made it what it is.
Hats off to us all & here's looking forward to another ten+ years.

I remember talking with Dave on.....It must have been old Napster back when it was hopping (he was probably looking for "tantalized'), and he mentioned he was starting a Church board, so I jumped on then, back in '99 and been here ever since...I have contributed, but never a very vocal poster, more of a lurker at times...the last 10 years have been fun, challenging, and at times hard, but looking back like Hotel Womb have had great success...With The Church still active as...

Hard to believe it has been so long. I joined around 2000 and was rewarded within a month with an extra Gypsy Stomp/White Star Line cd that Altres sent. Been hooked ever since. Sadly growing up with work and kids, my time here is lest frequent but I am still really glad to come here and see it still going. Nice song Brian!

I think I was one of the very first to join the Womb back in '99 (or so) 'cause I hated getting so much e-mail from Seance. I used the name "Disillusionist" back then, but had to give that up in the Big Crash of '02 (I think). I've had the pleasure of running into Dave at several Church shows and I always thank him for starting this up. Though I don't post much, I love reading the comments and musings of the other fans.

This month, Hotel Womb turns 10 years old. Dave Barnard, our Pharoah and founder, wrote this to the Faith Healers, and I would like to share his account of our board's history. (Dave's words are in italics, the rest are mine):

I started it really on a lark. It's been a lot of fun. Besides testing the software for another project I was working on, my one motive was to get a live version on Tantalized. That's why Happy Hunting Ground was the first forum name I ever...
