Florian...
I'd comptemplated opening this topic but knew all about your fondess for the
album so... thanks for the intro.

The problem with 'HOB' is of a somewhat different nature than
'problems' which surfaced (repeatadly) on their previous works.
Whereas I've let it be known that I thought the band had shown many
moments of laziness in final song selection previously, this time
I think the laziness reared its head in the song writing.
I'm assuming of course, that the band didn't think they had better options
than 'Another Earth' or 'Glowworm'. And again, perhaps I'm wrong, they
did have much better material (wouldn't have taken much) than those
songs but simply for some brain-damaged reason thought true
Church fans would succomb to this new 'fluff stuff'.
C'mon, the 'Anathesia' and 'Richochet' openers are brilliant IMO, and yes,
'Tranquility' has an almost drug-like tempatation for aural-addiction but,
where's the beef?

Alas, it's already been cooked in the first two tracks...

5/10.

Fraulein.
Bliss comes first as a jangling flood ...
