I can't believe my eyes... for some reason reading criticism about this album hurts more than the others put together.

When I got this album home for the first time and sat down to listen, I had no idea where I was going to be taken. As soon as "Anaesthesia" begins, I feel my eyelids grow heavy and whilst I am in no way sleepy, I feel the power of suggestion in this song, is extremely powerful. The music swirls around me in whispers and caresses.

The album holds me in a trance, I cannot listen to a track here or there... I have to start at the beginning.

To me this is the album of where the Church are now. And I am so happy! They have made it through 20 years of the music industry and are still giving us music that is this magical.

I use this album as a reference point for anyone who dares to question the Church's relevance today... From what I heard at the recent accoustic gig, the band are continuing in this vein. And that just makes me glow!!!
