Another one celebrating a significant anniversary in my collection recently. I first bought this CD on June 11, 1993, the only Church CD in Columbia House I didn't have yet. I had just graduated from high school about 2 weeks prior, and this CD ended up becoming my most-played CD for the summer of 1993. I had never heard any of the songs from it, not even UTMW, until now. Columbia House described The Church as folk-rock; an extremely inaccurate description to say the least, but I knew better because of GAF and P=A. This was my third Church CD. I remember playing it in the car when I went with my sister to see "Jurassic Park", and when UTMW came on, she said, "Wow, this is old!" (Come on, it was only 5 years old at the time!) This CD still holds well over time, and I still give it a spin pretty often. A good introduction for potential fans, as well. Anyway, 13 years later, I have 2 copies of the Arista version, and one of the remaster. The remaster is well worth the price - much improved sound quality, plus that entire extra disc of b-sides and rarites!
