Ah yes, I remember it now as if it were just yesterday...driving up that winding mountain road with my girl by my side and all the stars shining brightly above on that cool clear night as the hauntingly beautiful strains of UTMW enveloped us (I'm such a romantic at heart!!!)...
Starfish was really the album that caught my attention back in those days, with the shimmering guitars of Peter and Marty...along with Steve's brilliant lyrics. Some favorites..."you disturb my slumber and round up the numbers and put them inside your velvety cage"(Antenna)..."morning comes at last, and she's lying by my side...she's got the face of the widow who keeps following me and the body of my bride"(Hotel Womb). There are also many great guitar parts that I love...the beginning of NSEW...and the cool bass line of "Reptile". Although not my all time favorite Church album...that would be HEYDAY...I still think it's one of the top five(the other three being P=A, AENT and Seance).
