Dunno, Fraulein, you're a bit harsh in your verdict IMO though it's true GAF never met, or perhaps was never able to meet anyway, the skyhigh expectations of the album that was going to succeed Starfish. Kilbey himself has expressed on several occasions how unhappy he now feels with the production, and Richards departure and problem with their manager M.Lembo, all played their part.

Still, I totally disagree with the 'all filler material' remark: Pharoah, a fantastic opener both album and live-wise - Grind, would have fitted well in on Starfish - Transient, one of Peter Koppes best songs - Fading Away, gravely underestimated .. wish they'd dig that out live again - Terra Nova Cain, great rock song. My problem at that time was that I never was too fond of 2 of the singles they pulled of GAF .. neither Metropolis nor You're Still Beautiful excited me the way Electric Lash, Disenchanted or even now Numbers have.

Perhaps not their best, but GAF is still an essential album in my collection at least.
