Sometime Anywhere is an interesting album, and in essence is difficult to get a handle on.

I think that Steve and Marty did a wonderful job in knocking this record up, and the choice and mix of instruments is interesting. I agree I still dont know where Tim Powles comes into the picture here, and it is hard to know what tracks he actually plays on.

A lot of the tracks are disjointed, and most are fillers (IMO) but the album has some merits. Day of the Dead is an excellent opening track, and always give me the impression it is a follow up to Pharoah. Loveblind is probably my favourite from the disc. I love the rythym and beat to this song. I also have time for Lost My Touch. My Little Problem and Two PLaces are both too long, and whilst they have potential both lose me half way through the songs.

Business Woman and Authority are interesting, and both sit together nicely. You get the feeling SK is talking about the same woman here. OK songs but not strong. Maven & Lullaby are basic, and Eastern and Angelica sound like they would be better placed on a solo records. (I think they would fit nicely on Dabble...)

Finally that leaves Fly Home and Dead Man's Dream. Good solid tracks that suit the album cover perfectly.

Overrall I'd rate it a 4/10. Just doesn't sit right and is a total mismatch. Not worthy to be mentioned in the same breath a Re;formation - DCHWEU.
PK is sadly missed on this record...
