I do embrace a song from Somewhere Else...
... not Macabre Tavern though.
It's macabre because it's DOA?

Through accidental listening out of letting a playlist go through I've heard it more times than I would have voluntarily.
This song has grown on me to the point of being my least favorite Church song.
How is that a progress? It was among my least favorite songs in general, now at least is my least favorite from my favorite band.
Interesting experiment, but it would take arguing with Steve Kilbey himself to make me embrace the song, it would take strong arguments about its meaning and significance. The music is not that bad at the start, but the voices make it a cacophony. Maybe I'd like an instrumental version, maybe if I cropped it to the instrumental part, but as it stands... :x
(Do try to post convincing arguments in favor of the song if you want, but I won't listen to that for some time)

Reso, you made me hear it again to try to find redeeming qualities, I'm not grateful, I had to loop several times through the one I embrace to rinse out the memories. Now it should take several days before I'm willing to listen to the Tavern again.
