My lasting impressions of this album are that this is when the Church's sound had reached it's full splendour. This is the album that gave them the psychedelic pop tag and conjures up great moments of the 60s.

I love this album for the lush sounds, which smother and caress you like incense. There is a certain feeling with this album, the cover fits perfectly with the sound, those browns and reds, the paisley shirts, the persian rug.

Without listening to the album, I can tell you my favourite songs are Disenchanted (the annunciation and the lyrics), Columbus and Tristesse. Already Yesterday, is probably the song I am least keen on, but I don't think any of these songs are "fillers". I am sure if I take notes whilst listening, I will be able to define my favourite moments better... but for now this will have to do.
