Heyday? I'll have to sit and listen to it before adding a full commentary. My sort of homework!
I will add this: my fondess memories of Myrrh also involve driving. Both on sunbaked days when the heat rises from the road in blurry waves and on nights, returning from my job, stealthily making my way through the historic home district of Lexington while the city slept. Maybe the bewst driving song of all time?
Amanda, you used the word splendor [I meant splendour!]; that's a very accurate term. It was this very album which set the critics and fans alike using words such as splendor and magnificence to describe the music.
Cheers, Noel
