It shows that I've been long enough in the US that I preferred not to mention the despective uses of yobbo... I didn't use to be that politically correct....
Those are good examples D. I actually like better the image of the ink in the book not being worth repeating (rewriting? condemning the words to the oblivion of a rejected gift?) than considering the Incas not worth repeating.
With respect to wordplay I think that the juxtaposition of some terms in unusual ways qualifies. As an example of that I've been thinking about
Already Yesterday
, evocative in its reiterating imprecision.
Or consider
Dead Man's Dream
also evocative in its imprecision and how the initial impression may be that such image is literally impossible.
The Disillusionist
, taking the idea of a magician dedicated to disillusioning people.
Freeze to Burn
taking yet another concept that seems literally impossible at first (unless you have some extensive experience with frostbite).
And there may be some subjectivity involved in all of this.
There is another song I like a lot that has some wordplay in the title...
