Matt... two things disturbed me with your post...
1/ "the Church ass" I prefer to listen to the music than look at their physical attributes...
2/ Ian Mac does have a good voice... it is probably one of the best voices in the whole world, ever. And as far as I have seen in 2001 he still had it (all of it). He does have a big ego... but he probably isn't exaggerating about Coldplay at his feet...
How many other bands from that time said they were the greatest band ever... and how many actually came close to it? Echo and the Bunnymen, like it or not, have played an important role in music... and Ian Mac has never been afraid to say it. We will be feeling their influence for a long time to come.
By the way... What was their ONE HIT?
And Jean... you should be thankful that E&tB still gets good press... it's better than it going to the next new band whose style over substance completely blinds us.
