Talk about nostalgia
I grew up listening to Echo (same with The Church) and was lucky enough to see them live here in Brazil (What Are You Going To do With Your Life tour - 1999). I never had the chance to catch them outside my country and such a long time waiting makes that concert a dream come truth (same with TSOL in 1993, Spy vs. Spy in 1995/96, Hoodoo Gurus in 1996, Mark Knopfler in 2001 and Concrete Blonde in 2003) - As you can see, Im still waiting for the real dream.
Like Jean, Im also loyal to the bands that I loved in my youth, and the distance from all of them just seem to increase this feeling. Thats a good part of being far from everything.
BTW, some people say that The Killing Moon is the perfect pop song (or something like that). Id say this title could also apply to UTMW, as I always compare this two songs in a certain way.
Any thoughts about it ?
