Whether THEY have done it all before... well I am sure Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan and Donovan fans thought the same thing when those younger upstarts Lloyd Cole, Steve Kilbey and Grant McLennan came along.

The thing is that Wilco are just a band, doing there own thing and I am assuming that alot of the so-called hype makes reference to them being kicked off their last record label. So the media has picked them up as the "darlings" and is milking it for all it's worth. That seems to be how the music industry works. Look at the Strokes, the White Stripes and now the Vines, they are all getting churned through one at a time... the media makes them, then the followers break them.

My point is that you shouldn't take it out on any of these bands in question. If it's a good album, say it's a good album, but don't start a backlash for the sake of disagreement. I just don't think that's useful.
