No doubt, envirnomental technologies that would make kyoto easier to implement are not being aggressively pursued in the u.s.

I think relying on the logic that it is economically regressive overlooks the grim likelihood that it will soon be too late to do anything about it.

In respect to the Kyoto Accord, I think the Bush Administration should apply the same logic which they applied to the Faith Based Missle Defense System; Build it and pray it eventually works.

This is what convinces me that the Bush Administration is guided by an anti-intellectual agenda. They will rely on selective environmental and economic science to rationalize rejecting kyoto, but completely ignore the work of military scientists who can demonstrate that the missle defense system Bush purchased is not effective.

To wombers abroad, I say that many americans wanted the u.s to implement kyoto and still do. I for one am working to elect a candidate who will put it back on the table.
