"...he actually registered an account and responded to the criticisms..."

hmmm. you dont say. :o

Actually after the first e-mail I got, I went to thefixx.com to find a forum link to see if mention was made of the review in a review thread. They didn't have one! So after looking around and making a few posts I made one. I just put "see newspapertaxi.net," or something like that.

I suppose I am more scientific than I thought as this very thread was inspired by this and having a "control" to my Hotelwomb experience, and subsequently my notion of "chatboard psychology."

Writing a review that can be seen on "the WWW," writing a book, and posting on a message board, have all been very extraverted alterations on my very old and semi-sacred (yogic perhaps) habit or hobbie of writing in a very introverted way.

Both bands (the fixx, the church) were started around 80/81'ish and have continued to make records. Both have been refered to as 1 hit wonders (heat taken from this, but I called it "post-obligatory," as in afterthought or a label in hindsite [a VH1 special]), and have what has been called a cult following.

The fact remains - the two message boards are profoundly different.

As well, I have enjoyed these little adventures out of my cramped little shell. The Hotel Womb itself has felt like a blessing of sorts, and regardless of my occasional (two or three) PUIs, I have enjoyed this site in ways far beyond my initial expectations.

thanks all,

b
