Jean, let's see if I've got the facts...

Malta is an Island in an archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea, just south of Sicily. The official languages are Maltese and English. Winters are relatively mild and summers are quite hot and dry. Diving is apparently good off the coast of Malta. The Pound and/or Lira is accepatable currency. Most religious Maltese are Catholic, but Protestants also abound. Let's see, isn't there also something about the Knights of Malta? Also, what are your plans for Republic Day?

Sounds like a great place!

Too many americans are americentric. Worse, however, is the fact that they lack curiosity. Our public education system steals that and replaces it with complacency.
