Joffa - australian history/aboriginal ancestry/culture is much more prevalent in our school system now (in NSW in any case) so I'd be very surprised if Victorians and other states weren't also being taught more of it now. Myself, I was taught lots of australian history in my school days but it was more the 'white mans' version...I think things have improved tremendously these days.

Just hope we dont go too much the other way and only concentrate on ourselves and no-one else.

re: south american wombers - I was just hazarding a guess and dont know if there's any on the womb at the moment though i do know of a few South American church fans incl. one from Brazil.

We have a world map on our wall at home and my kids love to point out all the places they're going to visit one day :)
