Soup is a great starting point Jim. I make different soups during the winter months that go down well enough.

2 Onions chopped and translucently fried (not brown)
1 pint of vegetable stock
2 big Parsnips
a wee bit of cream

Season to taste. Same with turnip but put in a couple of potatoes previously boiled.

Similar with broccoli but add some blue stilton and more cream.

In the summer it's the same but use green peas.

For something different in summer use 4 corgettes and loads of either creamed or dessicated coconut. Actually good cold with some parsley on top.

Brian

PS I'll get back on other less soup like foodstuffs.
