exersize...
think positively...
be disciplined...
balancing the mind, body & soul...
results will not be immediate, but they will come...

simple math:
It takes a deficit of 3100 calories to loose one pound.

As far as a diet? You can still be feeling fulfilled. The next time you go to grocery shopping, pick up each item you'd normally buy look at the label and see how many calories it has. Then put it back & look for a similar item w/ less calories... i.e. Your crunchy ranch flavor blasted potato chips have 230 calories, but baked tostitos have 90. Ground beef 6oz. = 480, but a 6oz. chicken breast is 280.

I'd say limiting it all to around 1800 to 2000 calories per day helps, but it'll only work for you if you set it up in a way that you'll like it & be fulfilled and happy w/ it.
