OK 1973 ( not "Life on Mars" - I mean I was there )

21yrs old and living in a flat in 5 -ways, Paddington Sydney for $21.OO p/w.
( it had the only 3 sided living room Ive ever seen - 3 walled room - we were on a corner you see )

anyhow I had front row tickets for Yes at the Hordern but my g/f Deborah ( a yuppie before the term was invented) hated my penchant for rock music and tore up my ticks on the nite and through them out the window .

I climbed out on the shop awning and stuck the pieces together.
then while doing the washing up I cut my hand on a broken glass while washing up dueto the "domestic" prev . described.

So I arrived at the concert with a stuck- together ticket and bloody bandaged hand ( a frontrow ticket no less )

perhaps thats why they let me in...

the concert was fantastic. ( all I can remember is Allan White drums and they eemed like they really meant it , man )

I can see why Yes fans would dig the Chrunch.
