Greetings,

My first post here but longtime lurker. More important, an avid follower and lover of The Church. Just saw them last night in Philly. With the exception of The Who, there is no other band worth seeing for true musicianship, love of what they do and energy they provide. Last night was just another example of the live melodic stream that always seems to hold me entranced. It's always a treat to watch, in awe, as their talent permeates the setting.

I won't bore anyone with the setlist - we all know it's been the same from show to show with the rare omission or addition. The show was ultimately one highlight, but 'Block,' 'Almost With You,' 'Reptile,' 'NSEW' and 'Deadman's Hand' stood out most for me. There were a couple of instances that Marty had some technical issues, so as Steve is apt to do, he entertained the crowd with his storytelling. This one focused on Christmas trees that sprouted or grew pot as presents. Rather funny stuff.

Excited to grab a setlist at the end, which will head immediately into a frame.

Look forward to posting here more often.
