I would have to say that Volkano is amongst my favourites on F/D. I found it pretty unremarkable at first, but it has really grown on me. For me, Love Philtered/Globe Spinning is the point at which there is a little drop in enjoyment. I wouldn't say Love Philtered is musically weak, but for some reason it just doesn't move me. As for GS, I don't like the discordant vocal phrase at the beginning of the song and I don't like how "unChurchlike" the track is. Not sure what they were aiming for with that one.
That's funny, 'Pride Before a Fall', 'Volkano', 'Love Philtre' and 'Globe Spinning' are the highlights for mine.  I've never gotten into the more overstated side of the Church as exemplified by the likes of 'Lightning White'. That track was an instant highlight but lost something afterward.  I think you (I) can hear the little 'Kilbeyisms' and it all gets a little self-conscious, It's the same with some of the tracks on the last two albums and some of those are fan favourites. However, Untitled #23 and this album more than make up for it. If anything, I'd drop 'Lightning White' and 'Laurel Canyon' and add 'The Girl is Buoyant' and make it a respectable 11 tracks.
