As mentioned elsewhere... MP3.com is closing shop (at least in its present state, it's been sold to C|Net which will basically remove all existing MP3.com content and relaunch it as something else).
Several Church Fan artists have songs hosted at MP3.com, downloading them is free, and you only have until Dec. 2, 2003 to get them...
So get to it, if you don't like them now you may like them later, but if you don't download them soon you may never find out.
Visit the Volumes webpage (same link as in HW nav bar here for convenience) and get to those MP3.com sites before it's too late.
There's a lot of music to find out from your fellow fans. Download and enjoy... It's free after all.
(Oh, and I'm sure the artists would appreciate a kind word and/or constructive criticism in this forum if you have it.)
P.S. If you have suggestions about alternatives for free or at least cheap hosting for these independent artists would you be so kind as to post them in the MP3.com closing thread at Ripple?
