His work as a poet, singer songwriter and rock musician have spanned three decades and dozens of albums across the globe. Steve will play a series of acoustic style performances with Ricky Rene Maymi from The Brianjonestown Massacre. The gigs are designed as an acoustic up close and personal performance. Where Steve will be playing acoustic interpretations of some of the tunes that influenced him most and his favorite solo and Church tunes .
Since 1991 The Brian Jonestown Massacre has been making some of the most stunning music ever heard. Their seven albums on Bomp, and their 1998 (Strung Out in Heaven, on TVT), have made them heroes to a growing cult around the world. BJM has spawned or influenced many of the most interesting new bands of the past decade, from The Warlocks to The Dandy Warhols. They continue making some of the best music to be found, and touring to a growing audience around America and the world. As their current guitarist Ricky is an accomplished multi instrumentalist and performs with many contemporary acts in both England and The USA. Ricky and Steve have penned a new album in the studio in recent months that is due for release next year.
